The D-28 Marquis Sunburst features “Martin Golden Era” (1930-1940) appointments and is constructed in East Indian rosewood,

including a top embellished with the Martin 1935 sunburst pattern.

Perfect for the advanced guitarist.

Indian rosewood back and sides, Adirondack spruce top with 1935 sunburst finish, scalloped Adirondack spruce braces & forward-shifted X brace,

ivoroid binding, herringbone top trim, old style wood fiber rosette, tortoise beveled & polished pickguard, ebony bridge with long saddle.

Modified V-shaped neck, ebony fretboard (1-3/4" nut, 25.4" scale) with diamond & square inlays, bone nut, saddle, & bridgepins (with black dots),

Golden Era decal on peghead, Martin nickel butterbean tuners. This is an Indian rosewood version of the discontinued D-28GE.
